Renewable Energy –  Project Management Assistant

Employment Responsibilities:

  • Quality Control & Correction of work completed by JU crews.
  • Crew scheduling and tool/equipment needs.
  • Manage and schedule projects to maintain profit goals to the extent that is in the PM’s control.
  • Must use processes set forth by Jolma Utilities, which involve using Sage 100 contractor and related programs to the extent possible. (Some training/education will be required.)
  • Customer relations.
  • Manage and create job files, review job contracts, and submit submittals.
  • Work on Change orders, redlining contracts, and project financial review.
  • Supporting all Solar events including meetings and Expos’.
  • Maintain Positive Attitude.
  • Weekly project reporting will include actual/budget hour reports, job profitability reports, costs to complete reports, etc. Per the company processes.
  • Follow and enforce JU’s safety handbooks.
  • Assist in Documenting project processes.

 

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in project management is a plus
  • Prior experience in the Solar Industry is a plus
  • High School Diploma and/or GED required
  • Driver’s License and dependable transportation to get to and from work
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with leadership and office administration
  • Function effectively as an integral part of a team
  • Able to reach out to companies we are doing work for to obtain contract documentation

Pay Range: $60,000-$100,000 depending on experience.
