Vibratory Plow Operator/Laborer

Employment Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the loading/unloading of equipment, materials, and supplies needed for daily work.
  • Must assist leadership (Foreman and or supervisors) with all duties
  • Safely operate plow equipment on job site which may include but is not limited to the following: Plow, Backhoe/Excavator, skid steer, tractor-trailer (moving equipment/Haul Water) vacuum excavator trailer.
  • Restores and/or landscape-disturbed areas of the job site.
  • Responsible for the set-up and clean-up
  • Ability to follow instructions

Qualifications:

  • Must be experienced with plow equipment and understand their capabilities and limitations
  • Experience with plow setup and design processes
  • CDL Preferred or ability and willingness to get one ASAP
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years old
  • Knowledge of safe digging practices
  • Basic ability to use small tools/hand tools safely
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record and non-expired CDL
  • Must be able to proficiently use locators to safely identify utilities
  • Must have good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Must be very safety conscientious
  • Must have availability to work overtime when needed
  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • Previous experience and knowledge of underground utility construction
  • Knowledge and understanding of reading drawings and ability to follow specifications
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with Crew, Leadership, and clients
  • Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Possess knowledge of industry-standard safe working practices
  • Must be able to travel to various sites as required outside of WI
  • Out of Town: Must be able to work out of town Monday-Friday or long term (Typically home on weekends)

Pay Range: $22-46 per hour depending on experience.
